We welcome you to our practice and look forward to assisting you to have a happier more Abundant life. Below is information and guidelines to help you with becoming a new client.

Payment of Services:
-We welcome clients to pay with cash, checks or CCs prior to, or at the beginning of their sessions for the amount of their pre-negotiated fee*.

*Clients who desire Coaching will pay our total session fee without insurance use. *Clients who want Counseling for a Diagnosible disorder are allowed to pay with part insurance use and part co-pay, based on your benefits and deductibles. We can investigate this for you.


-For Life, Relationship Goal Oriented Coaching, 50-minute session, rate varies based on Coaching packages and payment options
-For Individuals & Couples Psychotherapy/Counseling,  45-minute session, rate varies based on payment options and /or insurance*.
-Intake and family sessions, 45 min sessions, rate varies based on payment options and /or insurance*.

*Insurance Info:
Although some insurance is accepted for diagnosible conditions and disorders, there are some advantages to NOT utilize your insurance.  The insurance company can ask to review my notes and assessment, limit the amount of visits based on their assessment of your case, sometimes I may need to call your insurance carrier for pre-approval and sometimes they don’t always agree you need more sessions. They also can use your diagnosis against you later as a pre-existing condition and either deny you coverage or raise your rates.

If you would like to seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier for my services, I will be more than happy to supply you with a superbill that has all the insurance information on it that will help expedite your claim. However, co payment and/or negotiated payment is expected at each session

To determine if you have adequate mental health coverage that covers me (Behavior Relationship Institute Inc, Mind, Body Integrations and/or Dr. Cindy Brown) the first thing you should do is call your insurance carrier. Check your coverage carefully and find the answers to the following questions:

-What are my mental health benefits? Make sure you ask for MENTAL HEALTH Benefits, (NOT MEDICAL BENEFITS)

-Do you have “In-Network and Out-of-Network” benefits, deductibles?

-What is the coverage amount per therapy session? It will be a percentage.

-How many therapy sessions does my plan cover per year?

-How much does my insurance pay for an “out-of-network provider”? What is your Deductibles for both In-Network AND Out-of-Network?

-Is Pre-Approval Required from my primary care physician or from you calling now?

***I also will take your Insurance information when you call me for an appointment: I will need your-Full name and/or the the primary insurance member, Id number, date of birth, and the phone number on back of your insurance card that says -Providers Call or Behavioral Health Call:. I will need to verify your insurance info before we schedule you a session in our calendar.

Reduced Fee: Reduced fee services are available on a case-by-case, limited basis.

Payment: Cash, checks, and all major credit cards* accepted for payment and paypal* (*a small processing fee is charged for CC and Paypal transactions).

Cancellation Policy: If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance by phone & email, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. More office policy information provided at your first visit.
